Acceptance and scope

By downloading, installing, or using Dawnly, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. These terms apply to the Dawnly app and everything in it — the tracker, the widget, the reminders, and Dawnly Premium.

License

Dawnly is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on your own devices. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app. This license is personal to you, doesn't transfer to anyone else, and lasts only as long as you comply with these terms.

Not medical advice

Dawnly is a tracker, not medical advice. Always follow the instructions of your prescriber and the official label of your medicine. Nothing in Dawnly — including its reminders, countdowns, streaks, or any summary or report it generates — is a diagnosis, a treatment, or a recommendation to start, change, or stop any medication or dose. Dawnly does not replace professional medical advice, and using it does not create a doctor-patient relationship of any kind.

Reminders can fail. Notifications depend on your phone's operating system, battery settings, and connectivity, and can be delayed, silenced, or not delivered at all. Do not rely on Dawnly as your only safeguard for taking your medication as prescribed — keep whatever backup routine your prescriber recommends.

If you experience side effects, or think you may have taken an incorrect dose, contact your prescriber or pharmacist, or seek immediate medical attention. In an emergency, call your local emergency number rather than relying on anything in this app.

Subscriptions

Dawnly Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple through the App Store. Its price and billing term are shown before you confirm any purchase, and may vary by region. It renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store account settings; cancelling at least 24 hours before the current period ends avoids being charged for the next one. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers — if you don't cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple under the App Store's own terms; Dawnly cannot issue refunds directly or override Apple's decisions.

Acceptable use

Use Dawnly for its intended purpose: tracking your own medication routine. Don't misuse the app — interfering with its operation, attempting to circumvent its subscription mechanism, or using it for any unlawful purpose is not allowed.

Intellectual property

Dawnly — including its design, branding, and underlying code — is owned by its developer. This license lets you use the app; it doesn't give you any ownership stake or rights beyond what's described here.

Disclaimer of warranties

Dawnly is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information it displays will always be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Dawnly. Where liability can't be excluded entirely, it's capped at the total amount you paid for Dawnly in the 12 months before the claim arose — which is zero if you've only ever used the free tier.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the developer harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of Dawnly or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You can stop using Dawnly at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should outlast termination — including Not medical advice, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, and Governing law — continue to apply after your license ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live somewhere else, any mandatory consumer-protection rights your local law gives you still apply and aren't taken away by this clause.

Severability

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the update ships inside a regular Dawnly app update, with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
